Edited: HLB generously shipped GF biscuits & mix to my doorstep. The biscuits were delicious. So happy to have something to share with my celiac friends and family!!! Thank you for your response, Hot Little Biscuit staff. Original review: Not gluten friendly as advertised. I arrived at 10a and they were out of GF biscuits. When I asked if they’d have some later, the cashier said maybe he’d make two more GF biscuits in twenty minutes. There was no attitude of openness or customer service...despite there being no line behind me whatsoever. The cashier had a very dismissive attitude regarding GF. As someone with celiac, I was super excited to try Hot Little Biscuit & buy a bunch to take home to my family up north. Instead, I left buying nothing. Three stars so I don’t hurt the business unnecessarily. It’s a one star in my mind.

These biscuits are exactly what you imagine a delicious southern buttery biscuit should be. We chose the buttermilk, blackberry jam and cheddar. They did not disappoint. They each had their own unique texture and flavor and melted in your mouth. We visited the location inside the Charleston Market. It was fabulous.

Wow! The biscuit creations were AMAZING! I would love to see you branch out of the marketplace.

This place is amazing! We had the three mini biscuits, the blackberry, cheddar, and buttermilk, which were really good. We had biscuits and gravy as well, which was also very good. Then, the next day, we had more mini biscuits, blueberry biscuits, and sausage, egg, and cheddar biscuit. We loved all of it. The staff were super helpful and kind. Great cold brew! We will be back the next time we visit the area.

GLUTEN-FREE BISCUITS! OMG, this place is amazing! We were already stuffed from lunch but passed by here and knew we needed to try. Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit must be a staple here in Charleston because a bunch of stores sell their biscuit mix! This place has got to have some of the best biscuits you will try anywhere. SO MANY options, from sweet to savory! You can even create your own biscuit however you’d like with whatever toppings you want (or make it into a sandwich) - let your imagination run wild! Since it was our first visit and we were already full, we just got a gluten-free biscuit to try with cinnamon butter. The gluten-free biscuit was literally better than most place’s normal biscuits...if that doesn’t say anything, I don’t know what will! And the cinnamon butter was AMAZING! Just try this place if you’re contemplating. You don’t have to get a lot - just get a small biscuit and try with cinnamon butter or another topping. You’ll enjoy it!!

Ate here twice. GF items too 1 on King St , the other in the market The Breakfast sandwiches were excellent. As was the biscuit with cinnamon butter, delish. My son loved his BLT too and Wife n daughter raved about the GF biscuits .

My husband and I stopped at the location in the Market... my husband got the bacon, egg & cheese biscuit and I got the pimento cheese biscuit. My husband loved his sandwich and I enjoyed my biscuit.... But what topped off the experience.... I was craving good old SOUTHERN TEA... and thank goodness Robert had made some! I’m not into “fancy” teas or tea with mint... and it was just a “chance” Robert made some good ole TEA! Thank you Robert for saving the day! I will definitely stop by their location again... or any of the locations. So YUMMY!

My best friend and I had an absolute blast at Callie’s personal biscuit making class! My husband scheduled it via Airbnb for us! From buttermilk classics to savory cheddar-herb, we rolled, mixed, and baked a variety of biscuits. We loved sampling each style and sharing giggles with Callie herself, whose warmth and expertise made every moment special. The hands-on instruction, cozy atmosphere, and delicious results created memories that we will cherish forever. Highly recommend for a fun, tasty treat and memories for a lifetime!
